What is changing?
Beginning on June 30th, Slacker Services will no longer support TLS version 1.0 and 1.1 in order to improve service security. To continue to Securely access Slacker, you must be running a client that supports using TLS 1.2.
What do you need to do?
If you are using a web browser to access Slacker Radio, please upgrade to the latest version of the web browser. The minimum supported browser versions for some of the browsers are listed here:
If you access Slacker through an application, please make sure you are running the latest version of the Slacker Application through the App Store or Play Store.
What may happen if you don't upgrade?
You may receive errors such as "Unknown SSL protocol error in connection", "The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel", "ECONNRESET", "ERROR CONNECTION RESET", "SocketException", "Connection was forceably closed by host", "EPROTO", ....
